The former Cowboys coaching coach of running backs Gary Brown died of cancer on Monday, NFL Jerseys Network reporters said.
Cowboys manager Jerry Jones said: “Gary Brown has a great heart and is always smiling and has a wonderful personality. His energy and positive outlook will be infectious to all. He’s in every room that is lively and anyone who comes in contact with him is positively impacted. . . . The coaches and players who worked with him are enthralled by him.”
Brown The coach for the Cowboys in the 2013-2019 season. He brought out three running backs with a thousand yards including DeMarco Murray, McFadden, McFadden as well as Ezekiel Elliott. Murray (2014) as well as Elliott (2016 and Elliott (2016, 2018) both took home the rushing yards championships.
Brown was the head coach for running backs at the University of Wisconsin in 2021 however, he was unable to take part at the Las Vegas Bowl in December because of cancer treatment.
