Eagles Jerseys have signed safety Jaquiski Tartt to a one-year contract, the team announced Friday.
Tartt spent the previous seven years playing 49ers, mostly as a rotation guard. In his seven years, Tartt started 64 games, making four tackles and destroying 18 passes.
He had four seasons with one tackle, and 2017 was his best year ever. According to Pro Football Focus ratings, Tartt’s performance has been relatively steady, with ratings in the mid-60s for the 2018-20 season. Tartt’s rating for the 2021 season was 57.5, the second-worst in his personal life.
Safety is a relatively thin spot on the Eagles’ roster, and they’ve tried and failed to sign a star player like Justin Reid. They ended up re-signing Anthony Harris for one year, presumably starting him and Marcus Epps.
